late 80's Epi Les Paul headstock shape

Tried searching: no dice.

Found a local Les Paul for sale. In good shape. Sounds good.

Has an odd headstock shape, though. Not exactly the Gibson "open book" style. Not the current Epi style.

Something sorta in between.

I don't have a picture, and I'm trying to find a similar one online.

Serial number: 9060033 (it's on a sticker on the back of the headstock, NOT printed on the guitar).

GuitarDaterProject.org says it was made in 1989 in Korea, but doesn't say where.

Trying to find out more info on the guitar.

Anyone know the headstock shape I'm talking about?

Do you mean like this? :

Those were made by Samick in Korea from about 1988 until they changed the headstock design to the current Korean/Chinese shape in the early/mid-90's. The guitar dates to June of 1989 so that seems to line up with everything else...
