mrjones200x Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Not played one like that but my acoustic washburn is lovely to play really nice sounding and a nice action too. Also looks good too! Got mine from cash convertors is uk for £90. Have been impressed by washburn so far. Heres a link too some reviews on harmony central. I check there site before i finally get anything http://reviews.harmony-central.com/reviews/Guitar/product/Washburn/HB30/10/1
Lord Summerisle Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Yes, I have played one recently, and they are a steal at the price they are presently sold at. They are perfectly nice guitars, with a pleasant 335-esque tone. That said, if you can find the extra few bucks I would probably suggest the HB35 instead. However, that argument is not unlike the Dot v Sheraton argument, which you sometimes see here. Some folks wouldn't swap a Dot for a Sheraton if you paid them to. So go with your instincts. HB30s are nice guitars. Now sit back and wait for the usual bucket of "cheap Chinese-made import crap" garbage to get thrown all over this thread.
sexygibson Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Look pretty nice. I would say it should compare favorably with the Epi Dot. Someone like Svet could tell you more about the semi-hollows.
JefferySmith Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Don't have one, but my Washburn jazz box is very nicely built with a good neck. No complaints.
