Well a HNGD to me with a new Gibson SG worn brown flavor.

I finally fell into the temptation.

I've been in and out of the local GC and had been playing the guitar over the last month and finally GC made me an offer I couldn't refuse and now it's mine...

I didn't notice while at the Guitar Center, but the headstock angle is noticeably steeper than my 1970's SG.... And the body is a little thinner. But it plays pretty darn good, but it needs a set-up and additional fret dressing. but for $729.99, I felt it was a steal.

Excuse the first image, my daughter left my good camera in her locker at school](*,) so I used my cell phone camera.

And notice the headstock angle difference

I got the same guitar and i love it. Great deal you got on it to. Enjoy the new SG! :D

I have the SG special faded too. You won't be disappointed Duane. The neck is like lightening and' date=' with the '50s rounded profile, you don't get cramps so quickly with more difficult fingering.

A lot of people like to change the pickups to emulate the standard or the '61 reissue, but I like the stock 490R/T combination. The bridge has a more vintage tone than a 498T and it's nice and bright.

Here she is with my two Epis:
