ballcorner Posted June 27, 2008 Share Posted June 27, 2008 It looks like $2300 worth of work to me - and that is if the neck is straight, which it might not be. I would stop bidding at about $750. You need to accept that after restoration it is a new guitar - not a vintage tone etc. until it plays in. So, you are facing the purchase price, restoration and five years of playing.
