NEw to forum. Did i make the right choice?

I recently graduated from my epiphone lp custom, and purchased a black Gibson goddess lp (chick guitar, i know). I looked everywhere for a gibson i could actually afford, so i started to play with the faded studios. I didnt like those I then compared the goddess to the les paul studio. It all came down to the goddess being a little lighter, having an ebony fretboard, and it was discontinued so i wouldn't have the chance to make this decision in the future. My question is open to all....

Did i make a good choice?

Are there any improvements to hardware or pickups you would recommend?

A chick guitar? hmmmm looks fine to me. I've seen worse. It's not a Flower Rock guitar.

And speaking of "chick guitars" I believe there are a majority of us, MYSELF included Gas'n for a certain white melody maker.

If you like it, Rock on. My only dislike about the goddess is the 2 knob configuration. Then again my BFG isn't a traditional configuration either and I love it.

Welcome and Congrats

That already has the smoky coils and it looks like an intoneatable bridge. It looks nice and should sound real good. I would replace the plastic nut and check all the solder connection's and make sure you get or give it a good set-up and just play the hell out of it.

Ah, leave it be, their a fine guitar, and easy on the shoulder too. But if'n you don't want it, you can always send it my way, I'll put it to good use, and I'll say, "it's a girl guitar, do something about it!"
