SlagJones
I have a DOD 250 pedal and the button only activates intermittently. I either have to press it again or jiggle it a little in order for it to engage. Is there a simple fix for his? I have no electronics or soldering experience. Thanks for any help. m-theory
Needs a switch. I just fixed an original one of these for a guy, about a month ago, though I can't recall offhand what the switch was. I THINK it's a DPDT, in which case, you'll probably want to get a Carling 316. You could use an alpha or similar, but they're not nearly as durable, as you've seen. Carling would run you about $10, Alpha a few bucks less. http://www.smallbearelec.com/Categories.bok?category=Switches Pop the bottom off that bad boy, and verify that the switch has 6 terminals. Then, order up one or the other of those DPDT units, and send it to me, and I'll throw it in for a beer. Email me.
spaaarky21
My re-issue wasn't true bypass when I got it. I used a 3PDT and added a status LED so I'm not guessing when I play the first note. :-) I also added a modern power jack and replaced all the resistors, which quieted it down a bit when the gain is up.
