HI I HAVE A NEW FIREFLY 30 DSP AMP ARE THERE ANY MODS FOR THIS AMP YET????AND WHAT SHOULD I CHANGE OR BE AWARE OF ON THIS AMP,,THNX,,,,PLEASE REPLY TO GEOBREND@VERIZON.NET

it's a solid state amp, so no, people don't mod it. people here only care about tube amps.

 

if you really want to though, i'd suggest a speaker change... i have the amp, and that helps. you might want to change the TRS connector on the footswitch too, or the tip might get stuck in the jack. you can pick up a new trs plug at radio shack, and i'd look at the eminence website for a speaker...

 

you might want a tube compressor and a distortion pedal too, because the dirty channel isn't that great, and as i said, it is a solid state amplifier.
