brianh Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 Just came on CL with HSC and PUP, appears to be missing bridge thumbwheels - seems cheap: http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/msg/1037857607.html
TommyK Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 No worries, I keep mine at the bottom of the bridge slot anyways. Case is worth at least half that. I'd like some more details shots of the fretboard extention.. preferably a profile. Hey! Big Country! That's the "Norliln" label I was tellin' you about. Oh and that does have the 'wont-wear-off epsilon on the pick guard.
Big Country1281734142 Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 OK I gotcha now... The Nolin's have the brown label. Other than that, it looks a lot like mine.

Other than that' date=' it looks a lot like mine.[/quote'] Early Norlins had the blue label as well, which did not mention Norlin, before they went to the 'Norlin' label. The very, very early ones with model number series: 6xxx had left over blue labels from Kalamazoo which read, "Union Made" in the lower left corner, in the margin. These, they took a black marker, blacked out "Union Made" and rubber stamped, "Made In Japan" right next to it. They eventually got their own labels, identical to the Kalamazoo label, except "Union Made" was not printed and "Made In Japan" was printed in the lower right hand margin. Unscrupulous sellers, sometimes razor off the bottom margin or just simply rip off the MIJ, trying to pass them off as US made.
