fenrirlupus
It's the release week of the valve senior, and you're still advertising a guitar that's got a very limited production run. Don't worry, they'll sell, and the chinese wilshires will too, but you've barely even mentioned the existence of the valve senior! you could at least have a home page with BOTH, but no, all you've ever really said about it was that it was at NAMM... congratulations. (and if something like this has already been posted, sorry to whoever posted the first one)

Ricochet
Sorry, what opportunity? The V-Senior is simply not released yet. It's perfectly common to introduce a new product to the public after the NAMM-show which is intended for the music-industry.

sexygibson
I have a feeling that those who are most interested in the Valve Senior, like myself, already know about its debut. True, advertising certainly helps, but with so many new products coming out you just can't " push " them all.
TWANG
epi had big interest in the vjr... mods were coming from all directions.. magazines like premier were pushing the amp/mods.. it was all over the place and people were talking like mad.. the vsr pics piqued everybodys interest.. the time was ripe, the promice was made... and then blah. now, you're seeing modded vjrs being sold off.. not sold as special things like at first.. but dumped. and you're seeing vjrs sold cheap on ebay and discounted in stores. then you have the vsr delayed and delayed and delayed.. try making love to your old lady that way. More and more, all over the web, I'm not hearing people say I can't wait to try one out.. I'm hearing people say. I can wait until someone else trys one out. MrMod
Actually Epiphone/Gibson introduced the Valve Seniors at the Summer NAMM Show, and then suddenly all info/pics was REMOVED from their news page They sure started the whole thing with the Valve Junior, but blew it with the Valve Senior. Also, it seems that after the huge VJ success, Gibsons more expensive Les Paul Junior are now retired !?
m-theory
My guess is that this amp will be a mushy buzz bomb in stock form, just like every other cheapo Chinese amp seems to be, but it may well become another modding platform. after the huge VJ success, Gibsons more expensive Les Paul Junior are now retired !? This was a really dumb idea to begin with. It was doomed before it was even on the shelf. The vintage versions of those amps, and 25 others just like it, are a dime a dozen. You notice how Fender avoided making a reissue Champ? Same thing. Why pay $500 for a new one, undoubtedly built on PCB and with subpar components, when you can buy the real deal for $300? Not to say that Fender's hybrid Champ will fare any better in the long run, but at least they have a marketable product that holds a viable place in the new amp market.
