...Do you guys prefer the independent or interactive EQ? I'm for the independent. In interactive mode it doesn't seem as responsive....reminds me of a guitar with weak pots...not exactly that same sound...but I find it anemic just the same-or atleast in comparison to when in independent mode. Just curious if anybody prefers the interactive and what it "does" for them.

Also-I'm considering an extension cabinet and have a general stupid question: As an extension cab-it won't cut out the combos 2x12's will it? I would hope not! I'm not even sure what to do cabinetly speaking...think I would want either smaller or larger speakers to add a different dynamic...8's or 15's perhaps. Not more 12's. I've got a Boss GT6 that I used for about a month before all the damn buttons and stuff just got too damn tiring. Would like to turn the dusty thing into a cabinet perhaps...or cover the bulk of the expense.

The interactive mode on mine buzzes more than the independent so i haven't ever used it for more than eight seconds. I presume you don't have that problem?

Wow, no no buzzes except for me in either mode. 60 cycle hum w/ single coils yeah, but that's it. Runs nice and clean.

If I want more tonal brilliance and a bright, crisp clean tone I'll use independent, but the interactive is great for getting a really fat, thick clean sound or more saturated sustain and overdrive.

OK...I'm wondering if I'm using it right on interactive then., or gave up too soon...think I'll switch it to that mode for a week or so and see if I form a different opinion...
