I know its' off topic, but since I had the chassis out to swap the preamp tube, and these are still hard to come by (at least for the next few months anyway) I figured I'd post pics of the guts of this little bugger.

Holy keerap, that's a lot of pieces for a 2 tube amp! So much for keeping simple amps simple, huh?

Ah..kewl. A Blackstar HT5. Any good results changing the preamp tube?

Amen to that! I have no clue what most of that stuff does, but man, does it ever sound good!

I swapped the Stock preamp tube for a new Tung Sol 12AX7 I had on hand already. I honestly couldn't tell enough difference to justify running out to buy a different tube. Also, the chassis in the combo is identical to the head, just flipped.
