Wrong Move, IMO....

[ Moved ] Very Cool Little Amp!!

IMO... This is not an Epi amp or accessory, so why was it moved there??? I placed it in the lounge, because that's where it belonged. (OT discussion post) [-o<

I see no reason to move it unless the thinking is: AN AMP, IS AN AMP, IS ANY AMP...

If this is the case, in the future, I will post any amp info of possible interest in the Epi Amp and Accesories section. OK?

Makes no sense to me, (but would prefer to do it right the 1st time)

Faded...

I would think all amp discussion should go in the amp section, all electrics discussion should go in the electrics section, etcetera. IMO, the lounge is for discussing either general music related topics, or non-musical discussion. I don't think guitar talk about fenders vs. Agiles or whatever should be anywhere but the relevant acoustic or electric section, personally. Discussing "Epiphone" products includes discussing the competition, as far as I'm concerned. But that's just me, it's not my house, LOL.

I would agree except, the sections all use Epiphone in their title. Which means what it says. If this includes all types, they need to change the titles to: Electric Guitars, Acoustic Guitars, Bass Guitars, Amps and Accessories, etc.

Otherwise, all Non-Epiphone related topics belong in the Lounge, period!

We are trying to be as flexible as possible.

In the future when moving a thread, we will add a reply so you know what Moderator moved it, and if you have an objection or a good reason as to why it should remain in particular forum, we will move it back.

Remember, we are human too.

Since we're on the subject, is there a hard-defined rule regarding posts about other brands? For instance, the above mentioned thread about a video comparing an Agile to a Gibson? Or, say, if it had been a comparison between an Agile and an Epiphone? What exactly is the policy on posting about non-epiphone guitars and amps?

If they are placed in the Lounge, I believe that is acceptable. I mean lets be real, most guitars players play more than just Gibson and Epi guitars.

As everyone starts acclimating to the Lounge, we will ask members to post non Gibson and Epi subject matter in the Lounge.
