Not an Epi, but sort of an SG

This is my Guild S-90.

I picked it up for $85.00 back in the late 70's.

Needs a bit of a clean up, but it plays and sounds great.

I have a Bigsby that I'm going to get around to mounting on it one of these days.

The price for this kind of "copy" from the '70 have rised in the past few years. It would be interesting to evaluate the guitar before modification.

Guild never got any respect from my colleagues (16-year-olds) in the 1960's, but I have to admit that I wouldn't mind fiddling around with one. Do they even make them any more? Or are they Asian guitars with the Guild name on the headstock?

I haven't seen a price guide on this, but I recently saw comparable ads for $500 to $700.

Long ago I decided this was a keeper, so I'm not really worried about hurting it's value.

Guild is "Now owned by the Fender Musical Instruments Corporation, production has ceased at Westerly (Rhode Island) and has instead been folded into the standard production process of the Fender Company." link

From what I've seen they're only making acoustics now here in America.
