p90 in humbucker format for riviera

I have one more question, anyone changed there humbuckers in a riviera for a humbuckersized p90 like the tonerider rebel9 or seymour duncan phat cat? Any advice or tips?

Sure, lots of us have. I have GFS Mean 90s in my Dot Studio. Clear and chimey

compared to the stock pickups. If you're not familiar with P90s, be aware that

they tend to overdrive less and differently than humbuckers.

My Riviera Nick Valensi comes from the factory with Gibson P94s. These are sweet pickups if you like P90s. I've been really, really impressed. Only question is, is the humbucker route in your Riviera the standard size for a HB? I thought they came with minis.

Some of them do, but in the 90s i think they made them from facotry with humbuckers... Anyone tried the tonerider rebel90?
