charlie brown
Looks like an old ('62?) "Coronet." with the 3 on a side, headstock. Has that body shape, and single pickup. CB
pohatu771
Looks like a single-pickup Coronet, or something very similar.

larkin38
It is the Epiphone Dwight Coronet made for the Dwight company in England. My all time favorite guitar.

midiman56
Now that's an interesting theory, Dave ... but as a fellow Scottsman, Robert Burns once wrote: "The best-laid schemes o' mice an' men Gang aft a-gley, An' lea'e us nought but grief an' pain, For promis'd joy!" As for the video, thanks all for the info, gentlemen. Marroit really wailed on that thing. He's still one of my all-time favorite rock singers! clarkuss
Possibly the reason Peter Doherty (libertines) wanted one so badly? Big small faces fan. He's had at least two batwing headstock coronets, an olympic and has been seen with a few casinos in recent times as well as a granada. #
axevictim
I have an epiphone dwight model coronet. chrome p90 with the batwing head stock. I heard they were made for sonny shields music in East Saint Louis Illinois. Cherry red with the tremolo. very light. Have had it in the original case under the bed play it once in a while. I saw Ronnie Wood play one with Rod Stewart doing Maggie May at Royal Albert hall. I bought it used in 1974. Its pretty flawless almost perfect.
