'man with a camera', I aint. *old tv show.. charles bronson starred.. for you pups who don't recall* my yard could use a little color this time of year. Guitar next to it is copy a co. got sued for..headstock was broken off shipping when I sold it.. just found a new neck. maybe I'll make a tripod. have to be a tiny one though. *L* TWANG

TWANG Posted March 16, 2009 Author Posted March 16, 2009 Now that I see it in good light, too, I AM gonna gloss that headstock, and I think I will put in the dot headstock inlay for sure. It wont hurt to have gloss in one place on the black.. it will match the pup rings and chrome better.. and the abalone dot inlay will help fill up that large blank space.. another signature to match.. oh my god there's the idea.. make that switch cover of tort in the dot headstock inlay shape.. heh. I can't leave it alone. I like those pups. They're staying in. Finally getting a chance to play it some and I just have no complaints at all. I'm still surprised at how much I like this studio. TWANG

[/quote'] Looks good but I can't focus on that headstock..my eyeballs get fuzzy. Have you tried the "Macro" option on your digital for those closeups?

Tried to make a dot style headstock inlay and chipped it.. wound up with a tiny coffin! doesn't really fit this guitar.. I'll go over to the trader forum and give it to some metal head. TWANG
pohatu771 Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 I like the truss rod cover... I'm considering one in red to match my Casino, but there's still this overwhelming idea that a Casino is supposed to have an E-logo cover. I blame John Lennon.
