bleumax
Hi, I'm a first-timer here, but a long time lurker. I have a Gibson WM-45 on its way to me. I'm considering swapping out the stock Grovers for vintage open gear tuners. Does anyone know if there's a direct drop-in replacement that wouldn't require any drilling? I'm also thinking of swapping out the pickguard to a Greven Tor-Tis firestripe like the AJs. Does anyone know if the Greven Tor-Tis for the Gibson L00 will work? http://www.fqms.com/Greven_Tor-Tis_-_Gibson_L00_Fi_P17732C1905.cfm Thanks! guitarstrummer
Welcome to the forum, bleumax. I'm not sure about the tuners, but here's a place that advertises the replacement pickguards for a Gibson J-45. I would think that would be a good place to start, as the one in the link that you posted shows one to fit a Gibson L00. Scroll down the page to get to the pickguards. http://www.guitargal.com/acc.html
