Hi,

I own a pair of NOS John Lennon "1965" Casino and John Lennon "Revolution" Casino that I bought from Fuller's Vintage guitars back in 2005. Serial number 3! They were sold in pairs and came with the special artwork, certificates, etc.

I wonder if anyone knows what could be the current market price.

Thanks

I'd say $1800 to $2200 in excellent condition

Thanks! I'm hoping they worth more than that - I paid $6689 for two of them, the idea was that they would appreciate in value

Just bear in mind that "value" is subjective. Investment quality intruments such as the ones you have may appraise for a high price, but the retail price you see advertized by a dealer will not be equal to the cash you realize through a private sale, auction, or whatever.

It's a buyer's market these days for everything, especially luxury items lke guitars:

Unless you have to sell, you might want to hold off for a while. My fear would be that the current USA Lennon '65 and Revolution Casinos sell (new) for $2665 and doubtless come with lots of case candy etc... As long as these remain on the market, the resale price of earlier Lennon reissues will be somewhat suppressed.

Thank you! I was told at Fullers that market value really has not been set for these sets. It looks like everyone who got them is holding on to them. I guess I'll add up some 30% on top of the original price and see what happens.

It doesn't help either that both are still available to purchase but two low #'s that match is awesome. Good luck I hope it works out for you.

Actually that JL on Ebay the bridge intonation adjustment screws are facing the wrong direction for some reason, and the pup adjustment poles don't line up properly with the pup cover holes, (but it could be an illusion). It's also missing the pick-guard spacer near the neck..... still a good deal at $1000
