lpfan Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 Very nice collection but I think some of those might be stolen so I am afraid I am going to have to take them. LOL! Very nice collection!
JefferySmith Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 Are those Mickey Mouse ears? I keep hearing about 335-style guitars as sometimes having Mickey Mouse ears, but your guitar really sort of does look the part. Let me guess. You like Les Pauls better than semi-hollows?
duane v Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 Nice pix=d> I really dig the black paul with the creme P-90's=p~
Parabar Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 Hey Jeffrey --- those are indeed the "Mickey Mouse Ears" you've heard about (as opposed to the more pointed style).

clarkuss Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 Wow! That's some collection. Very impressed with the look of the Black Paul/Cream Pick Ups - and I said I didn't like black guitars!

Better picture of THAT git, please... It immediatley caught my attention - I loves 'dem woodgrains.... 'Course I "ain't" stickin' my nose in the air about that Paul on the front right, either.... Sweet! Tasty! Delicious! Satisfying! LESS FILLING! TASTES GREAT!
sexygibson Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 Who says one Les Paul is enough ? Nonsense ! Beautiful collection !
JefferySmith Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 Hey Jeffrey --- those are indeed the "Mickey Mouse Ears" you've heard about (as opposed to the more pointed style). I think my 335 from the mid-60's had those ears.

highxj Posted March 20, 2009 Author Posted March 20, 2009 THANK YOU!!!! THANK YOU!!!!! DAMN' date=' THAT'S NICE!!!!! Are you allowed to say where you found it? Maybe a hint of $$$$? [/quote'] Sure, I actually just picked it up a couple weeks ago from a gentleman on MyLesPaul forum. It was made in 2004 and they usually run in the 5-600 dollar range. Not too many of them around, I looked for a bit and just happened to run across this one and grabbed it. They have one pickup factory wired out of phase for the "Peter Green" sound when using both pickups.....
zerostreet Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 Nice collection! I've got the black "gold top" as well! Love it!
floydpink7 Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 Wow. I'd quote that "Boneyard" again but.... dang that's nice
highxj Posted March 21, 2009 Author Posted March 21, 2009 Wow. I'd quote that "Boneyard" again but.... dang that's nice ;) ?? Not sure what you mean. Price? Last one on the 'bay sold for $550 and I paid $639 shipped for mine but it's in near new condition. I unfortunately don't have the patience to wait for killer deals on stuff. I'm a textbook impulse buyer..lol. I wanted to grab one of these unique looking pieces while I was able.
