Admitedly not an Epiphone amp! Vox VT30 :)

I was really going all out last night playing it, I had headphones in btw when it happened, I don't know if that has got anything to do with it! Anyway I was really have a good play about on it with my Les Paul Custom and it just died on me, the amp turns on, If I turn up the wattage by the back I can hear it fuzz, and when I change to different amps it makes noises, but the thing doesnt work! It definitely isn't my lead or guitar, as I tried these on a different amp, on my little Marshall :) By the way it doesn't buzz when I touch the lead when plugged into the amp, Hopefully you can help

Hi RM,

I would highly recommend that you check out the Vox discussion forum or Valvetronix.net. Voxman has a lot of knowledge and experience with Vox amps. He recently did reviews and YouTube videos about the VT30 - very impressive! Now that the amp has been on the market for a while, the bugs are starting to appear and the forum addresses many of these concerns.

Good luck :-)

I had a Vox AD30VT and that happened to me, mine was the preamp tube. Just died on me. If youve got another give it a shot. bit akward to get out but not impossible. Be carefull when aligning the pins because of the akward position
