Apologies all but can't get the photo up! If I try describing it.....

Apparently it's from the 80's has a precision like body with a

headstock that looks like it's from an explorerer?? Any ideas?

I think I know what you're talking about. Does it look like this?:

 

 

It's an Epiphone Accubass (Precision=Accurate). If you look closely you can see the epiphone logo on the headstock.
