Nice Genesis Standard on eBay

Hi all, there's a nice Red Genesis Standard on eBay right now that appears to be all original and in nice condition:

I would buy it, but I already have one just like it, and the case the guy has is not ship worthy, so kind of risky. I've been talking to the guy, and am hoping to see it go to one of us who lives in his neighbothood (West Texas). These are really great, underrated guitars, and those stock DiMarzios crank like ten men. I don't think you can buy a better guitar than this for $300 - it's solid mahogany (not veneer), neck through, has coil taps and they usually need nothing except the pots cleaned. If I lived near him, it would already be gone.

That thing looks mint ! I'v always liked the Genesis but don't think I've ever saw one in such great condition. You should really consider this one Brian.

Believe me I would if it was near here, but I have three, including one exactly like it already and I'm saving up for a Casino. I believe this guy is the original owner, bought it new or nearly new in '82 and never learned to play. So it's about as minty fresh as it gets. A great deal for someone in that region.
