Seal up the old holes that don't fit with toothpicks and wood glue, let it set for an hour, install the pickguard usng the holes that do fit and re-drill the ones that didn't. Hopefully the old holes will be under the pickguard.

+1 for sealing the old PG holes w/ tpicks and glue and drilling a new holes for the Bnew PG.

You don't need a git tech for this it's a DIY.
