metalhed717 Posted April 10, 2009 Share Posted April 10, 2009 ok i bought a pickguard so i could put a humbucker in my squier strat, i get everything soldered and put onto the pg, and it turns out the hole in the body and the hole in the pg are misaligned, so it wont fit on. any suggestions??? Dave Posted April 11, 2009 Share Posted April 11, 2009 Seal up the old holes that don't fit with toothpicks and wood glue, let it set for an hour, install the pickguard usng the holes that do fit and re-drill the ones that didn't.
