slasher1319
I have a gibson Les paul studio (awesome) and a Yamaha C-70 classical (rubbish) and I was wondering which out of the following two would be a better backup guitar, I play some acoustic, rock bluesy rock, classic rock. I like both of the shapes of the es 335 and jumbo acoustics, Which is better Epiphone Lucille or the Yamaha LJ 6 jumbo acoustic? please reply, thanks a lot

pohatu771
What do you need the backup for? For my electric guitars, I have enough backups to not worry about it. In the old days, I had my Casino and my Strat with the Squier for a backup. Now, with five electrics, The Squier will probably be backup for the Strat and the Melody Maker, Casino, and Spirit being interchangable. For acoustics, I have my Fullerton dreadnought for backup with my Martin dreadnought. The Gibson still can't be played, and the classical is in a different league - and not really a "gigging" guitar. BlueLesPaul2006
If you really want an acoustic tone get a real acoustic but if you want acoustic tone from your electric get the Lucille.
