Christoph4445
Dear Administrator Maybe you can help me with this: How can it happen, that the inlays of a the headstock of a Les Paul Custom 57 Historic look "smashed" or as if they had sort of moved? Serial number of the used guitar in question: 7 6374 I bought that guitar on ebay. It is in great condition, shiny finish etc. I couldn't tell on the photos and you can't really see it from afar, but up close ... I was a bit shocked since I figured that there must have been an accident of some sort. The seller told me upon my letter of complaint that the mentioned "look" is not out of the ordinary with such Gibson guitars. And he sent me pictures of two more Les Paul Customs of his that look very similar. So, should I be comforted or not? Thanks for your sincere reply and advice. Custom Admin
i have no idea what you are trying to describe. you might want to contact Gibson Customer Service with some digital photos to see if they think it looks normal. they are at 1-800-4gibson or service@gibson.com.
