Mr B
That's a real beauty....I'd love to have the neck on that for a git I've got. No info on the electronics wouldn't faze me....it's not hard (or expensive) to swap out Strat electricals... B.

Yeah, i bought a set of wilkinsons pups for AU $45, they're realy quiet at rest, and roar when aggravated, great with the gain set high, for the money they gotta be the steal of the century. sexygibson
I don't know Midi. $500 seems a bit expensive for a Lotus. For another $100 you could have 2 Squire Classic Vibe Strats. I played one recently and they really do live up to the hype.

ElectricGuitarKing
Those inlays are a bit much for my taste. Tattoos and vines are fine for a few, but most people don't want to look like a plant or painting with or without a guitar. :-) It's just too ***** (for me anyway). midiman56
Years ago, I had an Ibanez AR5000 that had the vine inlay. Beautiful guitar! This site (the one at the beginning of the thread) has one with a representation of a total eclipse that I really found pretty attractive! I'm more into that kind of "personalization" than all the skulls and flames ... Jim

midiman56
nice use of an apostrophe. Fenrir: First of all, that is a comma, not an apostrophe. Secondly ... relax! Maniak: Nice looking stuff, huh? If they play as good as it look, they are some nice fiddles! Jim

I played one recently and they really do live up to the hype. +1 I loved all the squiers I've had' date=' amazing what a USA or MIM pickguard can do in the real low-end models, I never tried the classic vibe series. here's a git I snagged yesterday on evilbay for $31.00us it's the Fender Starcaster, I'm not too sure what the deal on these things is but I'm definitely gonna find out. I know that I'll be upgrading the electonics and possibly the tremolo..if the guitar plays good that is, which I bet it does. *sometimes I have to rout the control cavity just a bit deeper in a certain spot for the pickup selector switch, most USA and MIM use the real one with spring, which is far superior. [img']http://i104.photobucket.com/albums/m199/GLake/DKR_6_8_10_45.jpg[/img] Can't wait to make believe I'm David Gilmour in Pompeii :- and/or I'm hoping it will do a nice Hank Marvin sound, really digging that guy lately.
