yamatsuka
Hey all, I'm planning on letting my Epi LP being adjusted (neck adjustment and such) to C tuning (C F Bb Eb G C), and thinking the EB Not Even Slinky will be a good fit for this. What do you think about this? Will this gauge be good, or will I need some lighter or perhaps heavier gauge?

Guest icantbuyafender
I played the beefy 'slinks then switched to the NE 'slinks as a method of building up my left hand legatto technique. i tuned them to standard and muscled through them on an old beater axe. the only time i used them on a guitar i truely loved, i was too afraid to screw up the neck and left it at C standard. I actually really liked that tuning combined with those strings. and they lasted forever. That string set is specifically for dropped tunings sir, as i was informed. Now I know for sure I'll like the tuning and strings.
Geff
Correct answer, dropped tunings need thicker strings.
