RotcanX Posted May 9, 2009 Share Posted May 9, 2009 I think, in a nutshell, that while the Dot is a very versatile guitar that won't let you down through almost any style of music except perhaps country, the '56 GT, while a very nice guitar, is nonetheless more of a 'one trick pony'. I would buy the '56 to add another dimension to my sonic stable but I'd definitely get something like a Dot first, especially if I already had a Strat in my collection.
