Cruznolfart1281734103
Some buds stopped by yesterday afternoon and we fiddled awhile. They hadn't brought their axes so I drug out a couple of mine for them whilst I continued my pursuit of bass competence. I gotta admit, after finding the right amp/cab models, they got the ol' Sheri and Del Rey cookin' on some olde tyme Blues stuff. Great way to kill an afternoon once the chores are done. Cruznolfart1281734103
That Sheraton is lovely. It just shines! Thanks, Clarkuss, it's hard for me to believe I've had it 11 years now. I've still never seen another 50th anniversary JLH, there were 50 in the run.
clarkuss
There were a couple kicking about yesterday or the day before - CB has a sunburst one. They are amazing looking and no wonder they're so hard to find. **Theirs were Sheratons with minis: http://forums.epiphone.com/Default.aspx?g=posts&t=10256

They're all beautiful. It's my fave of the epi semis.
clarkuss
Ah I see! Yes theirs were USA Assembled. Yours is still one beautiful looking instrument. What finish options did the MIK 50th Anniversary JLH guitars have?

What finish options did the MIK 50th Anniversary JLH guitars have? I wish I could still find the tech sheet for them...someday. As I recall they were available in the burst, like mine, and a natural. And, again relying on my very fallible memory, the neck is mahogany/maple, making it slightly different from the normal maple necks. When it came out I saw an ad in Guitar One from Mars music in Nashville. I didn't think I had any chance at all of getting one of such a limited run. But they had it in stock with "my" number on it. Came all the way across country to southern Oregon in perfect condition. After a set-up from my luthier it's been a stable favorite for a long time. Even got Keb' Mo' interested enough to get one for himself.
