which one of the following is applied on epiphone guitars? I need to know for my upcoming purchase whether to put it on a special stand to protect the nitro?

Current Epiphones (including Elitist) are Poly! Exceptions, would be JLH Sheratons (Assembled in USA), which were

"Nitro" finished, and the current Nashville produced Epi Wilshire. There were some Japanese Epiphone

(Not Elitist, but "Epiphone Japan") versions with "Nitro" as well, but they were discontinued in 2006.

ALL pre 1970 Vintage Epiphones are Nitro, from the factory.

Actually, neither. Epiphone guitars are finished in polyester.

Actually, it is a thick coating of mayonaise and Elmer's Glue which is allowed to dry thououghly and them buffed to a high gloss!

Right! (Are ALL the McCartney Texan guitars "Nitro," or only the real expensive one?)
