Is it worth replacing the saddles on a chinese made epiphone casino?

This is a preference thing but for me, I like steel saddles.

Again, I would think that the tusq saddles wouldn't be as bright. I have them on my Strat and I definitely noticed that. I was willing to give up some bright on my Strat but for my Casino, I want it as bright as possible.

It's what you're after.

I have GraphTech string saver polymer saddles on my Casino. Their ad states: "Metal saddles have a pronounced 2 KHz treble spike that dominates the tonal spectrum. String Saver™ Originals have a more balanced tone, with sizzling highs, full mids, and big open lows. You will also notice an increase in sustain by up to 25% over brass saddles and 15% over steel". Some folks like the change and others don't. I've kept mine on.

Don't know what Gibson bridge fits a Casino. My experience with Gotoh is that the string spacing is wider than my Korean Casino and the low 'E' string slot needs to be filed to prevent it from popping out; I went back the the stock one.

You don't want to replace the saddles on the Chinese made Casino

You really just want to replace the 'Chinese made guitar'

That will require about $2500 in Gibson $$ to do so.

Is it worth replacing the original worn out saddles on an epiphone casino with TUSQ saddles? Which Gibson bridge fits exactly on this guitar?

Have you considered rollers.
