TommyK Posted May 18, 2009 Posted May 18, 2009 Assuming the bridge isn't pulling up and the neck block hasn't failed (common on Norlin era Epiphones). 1. Make sure the neck relief is nearly flat. This is adjusted by the truss rod. 2. If the action still needs to be brought down, either shaving the bottom of the saddle will do it or lowering the slots in the nut will bring action down.... or both. What model is the Epi in question? How much clearance at the 12th fret do you have now?
