bluelake07 Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 Haven't heard the GFS, but these get good reviews at the Fender forum: http://www.rumpelpickups.com/ Hearing their "Gypsy" pickup sound clips makes me want to buy a strat-type guitar and put them on it!
jerome_travis Posted May 25, 2009 Author Posted May 25, 2009 I was thinking of swapping the pickups of my '83 ibanez roadstar strat.. since It looks like Jimi's I would like it to sound something like jimi's if possible! if not one has tried it perhaps I would swap them out for Tesla vintage coils! The Rumpels will be hard to acquire from where I come from..
