weese77 Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 Hi, I know the inlays for the Epiphone Black Beauty are acrylic, but can someone confirm the materials for the logo and split-diamond detail in the headstock. Is it mother of pearl / abalone or imitation? Thanks in advance.

antwhi2001 Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 On recent production it's imitation. It's some sort of flat printed sheet that covers the face of the headstock, rather than a genuine inlay set into the wood.
weese77 Posted May 26, 2009 Author Posted May 26, 2009 Thanks guys. That's actually good news for me.
