Black beauty headstock materials

Hi, I know the inlays for the Epiphone Black Beauty are acrylic, but can someone confirm the materials for the logo and split-diamond detail in the headstock. Is it mother of pearl / abalone or imitation?

On recent production it's imitation. It's some sort of flat printed sheet that covers the face of the headstock, rather than a genuine inlay set into the wood.
