TWANG
Not real neat, but solid. not quite done so don't sweat the small stuff. TWANG
TWANG
Hey. while I'm thinking about it.. I was out of 1K SGRs.... but I've got a 1.1K.... that ought to be within tolerances, eh? TWANG
Eracer_Team
when the VJ first came out there was lots of talk about the screen grid resistor. you can go as high as 2.7k and upto 5w for it. But of course you'll have to adjust your B2, B3 (R12, R13) resistors to compensate. So claim to hear a difference in the sound with the larger SGR. I my first build I have a 2.7k don't mind the tone at all.
TWANG
I didn't think .1 would be much a change. given tolerance accuracy to start with. but thanks.. good to know. I remembered people had different values at the SGR with difference at R12/13.. but I couldn't find anything on it. almost done with the other then I'm back at the 6er!
