free_the_three
So I have a V-Bass and I hadn't brought it out for a while and noticed the hardware was very dirty. I had really tried to clean it up using non-abrasive measures (wd40 and cotton, vinegar/water solution...etc) it doesn't appear to work as nicely as I wanted. Does anyone have any recommendations on cleaning the hardware or the grime off of it? Or does anyone know where I can get spare parts for this bass? This is the bass I have
free_the_three
I went to my local guitar store and I asked the techs there but it sounded like I am out of luck. I asked one of the workers if there was a product specifically for cleaning hardware (seeing as how it is so delicate, I thought for sure there would be one) but he didn't know of any. So any recommendations?

free_the_three
ah ok! I did see that product but just by it said guitar gloss so I looked passed it. Thanks for the tip! Does Epiphone still carry replacement parts for this bass?
RotcanX
Well most of the parts are pretty generic so I would not think it would be a problem to get replacements.
TWANG
I think AllParts carrys a replacement bridge in that style.. I seem to remember seeing one. The tuners are no problem. TWANG
