I see lemon oil mentioned a lot. What about Teak Oil. I just bought some

to oil a piece of outdoor furniture to preserve it. It says you can use it on all

kinds of hardwood.

Never tried it..but my fear with Teak Oil might be stickiness' date=' kind of like linseed oil?

To be honest, given how cheap lemon oil-based guitar specific products are, I wouldn't be inclined to risk it.

This stuff works just fine:

Guitar Center sells it for nearly $8, but I pick it up from my local Mom & Pop music store for closer to $5.
