I'm not too keen on maple fretboards either but it's certianly very unique. Horses for courses!

I had one of these in 2004, it was a great guitar! Swap those pups for a set of 81/85s and it will sound exactly like the Gibson version.

Now I am the complete opposit on the fretboard. I LOVE maple and I WILL own an LP with a maple board eventually. I think I'm a little old for the whole "bullseye/camo" thing ... but it looks like a great, fun axe to me. Congrats and have fun breaking her in!

HNGD! forgive the ignorance, but what is the major notable difference in fret boards. and you will be happier with 81/85's they do sound a lot different than the Epiphone version of them.
