TomLeech Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 Where is it? I can see the pics but I can't find the guitar... Beat me to cheaky things. I like it except for the maple fretboard but hope you enjoy it because its what you think that matters most
clarkuss Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 I'm not too keen on maple fretboards either but it's certianly very unique. Horses for courses!
altair Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 HNGD! I hope you'll lots of fun with this guitar ](*,)/
RSDx Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 Happy NGD !!!! Not my cup of tea (finish nor fretboard) but you love it and that's all that matters....enjoy it !!!
AS90 Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 I had one of these in 2004, it was a great guitar! Swap those pups for a set of 81/85s and it will sound exactly like the Gibson version.
midiman56 Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 Now I am the complete opposit on the fretboard. I LOVE maple and I WILL own an LP with a maple board eventually. I think I'm a little old for the whole "bullseye/camo" thing ... but it looks like a great, fun axe to me. Congrats and have fun breaking her in! Jim
Guest icantbuyafender Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 I really dig the maple fingerboard, a whole bunch. I reallly am banking on one of those natural satin finished raw power LPs HNGD, break her in and get to know her!
jagg11 Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 HNGD! forgive the ignorance, but what is the major notable difference in fret boards. and you will be happier with 81/85's they do sound a lot different than the Epiphone version of them.
MichaelE Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 Congratulations on the new LP. I like camo, but just on my clothing. Nice guitar though. I'd like a set of those knobs for my Custom.
Muskank Sally Posted June 6, 2009 Posted June 6, 2009 They're blowing out the Buzzsaw version for $499 at MF. http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Epiphone-Zakk-Wylde-Les-Paul-Custom-Electric-Guitar?sku=518771
