aminaziz92 Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 http://cgi.ebay.com/Gibson-Les-Paul-Epiphone-Casino-Electric-Guitar_W0QQitemZ250438196580QQcmdZViewItemQQptZGuitar?hash=item3a4f479d64&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=65%3A12%7C66%3A2%7C39%3A1%7C72%3A2096%7C240%3A1318%7C301%3A0%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50 care to elaborate on why he puts the word 'casino' while infact he is selling a les paul.is there such model?
RotcanX Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 Most likely the seller is an idiot. Note he's also starting bids at $225 for a headless guitar that is also missing a pickup. Bad enough if it was just broken but unless the busted headstock is included (and I don't think it is) it's kind of worthless. The cost to fabricate and attach a new headstock... oy.
Lord Summerisle Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 My favorite part is... "this guitar is in EXCELLENT condition, apart from missing head."
bvarsel Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 By including both LP & Casino they'll get hits from people searching either LP or Casino. Basically just doubling his chance of selling an over priced broken piece of crapolla.
aminaziz92 Posted June 5, 2009 Author Posted June 5, 2009 that's so silly,he is also selling a twin reverb with the head and cabinet secured with STAPLES..."The cabinet is in good overall condition but has been repaired previously, there are staples holding the head to the rest of the cabinet. The cabinet is completely secure as it was repaired well. Tested and works well!"
Stevie Nazarenie Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 that wood looks nice, is that a veneer? or sapele?
jcwillow777 Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 +1 to Spud's comments. That guy is an idiot! That is the funniest thing I have seen in a while.
animalfarm Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 This one belongs in the "Guitar Darwin Awards" in the lounge!!! Psilocybin Mushrooms can do strange things to people's perception of reality.... I'll give $50.00 just to have my next project guitar - "Replace a Set Neck 101"....
Red 333 Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 Maybe he ought to add "Steinberger" to his description. Red 333
midiman56 Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 Have you looked at the other guitar in this seller's "store"? He/she obvously specializes in over-priced, broken crap ... probably not a maket segmant that is overly exploited. Maybe he's not so dumb after all? Jim
