Saljam
Hello all.. I'm fairly new to your forum. I just recently purchased a 2008 EPI Standard Plus from Musicians Friend. I am really digging it! I've never played an LP before and it seems to be exactly what I was looking for in tones and overall feel. The finish is Honeyburst and is really stricking!! Anyways, I'm wondering if anyone knows what guage strings come stock on EPI LP's. I am a beginner and cannot tell exactly. They seem heavier than the 9"s that came on my Fender MIM Strat. I want to be sure because I like the overall thickness of them but feel as though they need to be switched out for some better quality strings soon... Thanks! theDeuce
There's a file in the download section that show they commonly use 10s on electrics.
midiman56
Here's the file: http://www.epiphone.com/images/StringGauges.pdf Epi puts .10's on every electric 'cept for the large body archtops (which get .11's).
