There's one other way that you might be able to check. Most, if not all of the Tusq saddles I've seen have got very small indentations on the bottom. They look like small pin holes. They are probably something left behind from the molds used during manufacturing. If those are present, then it's Tusq. However, if they are not present, it doesn't necessarily mean it's not Tusq. It could mean that the saddle was sanded down to lower the action and the holes are now gone.
