midiman56
Hmmm ... I've been eyeballing a DiPinto myself ... but not that one. This one: http://www.dipintoguitars.com/product.php?id=2 The four pickups, the cartoonish headstock ... THE ROCKER SWITCHES!!! They might just as well call it the "MIDIMan Signature"! midiman56
I know, Max ... isn't it neat??? Back in the 60's, there was a period when it seemed like every Saturday morning cartoon show had to have a rock group. A few of them actually had some pretty good tunes in retrospect (The Bananna Splits, The Hardy Boys, Josie and the *****cats) and The Archies even scored a hit with "Sugar Sugar" that held the #1 spot for FOUR WEEKS! LOL Anyway, this Dipinto looks like a real-life version of how the cartoon artists drew electric guitars for these shows! Jim
brianh
Now if they'd just make more keyboard players that looked like Veronica...

charlie brown
Well, as long as we're posting cute "keyboard" players, from "back in the day"....Susan Dey (AKA Laurie Partridge) was a real "looker!"...IMHO. CB

midiman56
Now I happen to love those big, crazy headstocks ... they really add to the whole vibe of the instrument for me. Have you ever seen the original Bigsby solid body design from 1948? Here are a couple of pictures from a prototpye reissue that was being planned a year or so ago, it is virtually an exact reproduction of the original. Talk about a wild headstock: It's easy to see that this design eventually evoled into the famous Fender swoop! Jim
