tt
Hi, There are slightly 2 different wiring layouts often referred as a " Gibson 50s wiring" Sample 1 (mojotone ) : http://www.mojotone.com/images/media/SG-Les-Paul-Diagram.pdf Sample 2 (singlecoil.com, look at pg 3) : http://www.singlecoil.com/docs/paula.pdf there are differencies in tone pots . Which one is the correct one :D ? Thanks in advance for any comment Best Regards, telbert
jonnyg
Seems to me that the guy in Sample 2 knows what he's talking about
Ricochet
Both have the correct schematic for 50's wiring, except in sample 2 you're looking at the wrong page... page 3 is showing a 'modern' wiring schematic.
tt
ahh, I see, thanks for pinpointing - I automatically thought the (only) "topological" wiring drawing ( on pg3 ) is ment to describe "50s" , as it does not have any comment . Now it makes sense again! sry for mess T
