jonnyg
This may have been posted before, and if so I apologise, but I've never seen it. If you go to http://www.vintageguitars.org.uk/epiphone62.php there's a whole 1962 Epiphone catalogue. (later edit) and from the home page you can access '61, '64 & 66 catalogues plus Gibson from 58-83, Gretsch, Guild, Hagstrom, Hofner and Ovation. pohatu771
man' date=' those guitars were cheap back then[/quote']The dollar was worth more, though... with inflation, a $115 in 1962 would have cost $810 in 2008... that's about what a Gibson Les Paul Junior works out as. An Epiphone Sheraton, as listed in that catalog for $525, would be nearly $3700 in 2008 - which is much more than a comparable Gibson ES costs, in most cases.
