brianh Posted October 4, 2009 Share Posted October 4, 2009 You might also want to try it on a non-Elitist Broadway, because if you botch it, it will lose most of it's value - which is hovering around $2k in nice condition. I wouldn't mess around too much with any Elitist myself. Another caveat would be that if you're gonna use it for rockabilly, a big hollow body like that will feed back like crazy. However, if you do it, you might want to use a B-6 (doesn't require penetrating the top) and a roller bridge. Here's more or less what it'll look like: A USA B-7 or licenced B-70 is fine but you'll be drilling two holes in the top. That will definitely lower it's value because it can't be invisibly reversed.
