pattyrash
I am a new member. After a bit of research, I decided on an Ebony Sheraton 2. It had a weird buzzing sound. I thought it was in the bridge but took it to a good guitar repair person for a pro set up and to see what the buzzing was about. Come to find out that there was some wood fragments in the pickup cavity that rattles. Never heard of anything like that before. Plays great, sounds great. Any one ever heard of such a thing? TWANG
nope. microphonics are anything that will vibrate when the guitar is being played through an amp. usually something like the height adjustment springs. I spose it could happen though! TWANG
