I had one that was made in 1998. You can tell by the serial #, mine was R98Bxxxx, R indicates Peerless factory, 98 is the year, B is the month (February). Your serial # might be in a slightly different format like S9802xxxx where the month is represented by numbers rather than a letter (only Peerless used a letter AFAIK).
