woodster
Hello all, I'm new to the site but a massive Gibson and Epiphone collector and player especially of older Kalamazoo and Matsumoku semi acoustics. Perhaps more of that some other time if anyone is interested and I'll get some photos loaded. I've got 2 of the John Lennon Casinos (both 1965 and Revolution models) but have finally tracked down and added an original 1965 Casino to my collection. The serial number is #328269. It's pretty much mint and original (except for the case) and the sound is simply stunning. I know that Lennon's Casino had #328393 (which puts mine pretty close to his) and that McCartney had an earlier '62 model with #84075. Does anyone know what serial number George Harrison had?! I've searched everywhere but can find no mention of any serial number. Any insight or info would be hugely appreciated! Looking forward to being part of the Epiphone community. Many thanks
ataylor
You can't post something like that and then not show photos! What were you thinking?! :)

woodster
Thank you! I'll get some photos of this beauty loaded tomorrow.....I'm keen to know if John and George had sequential serial # on their Casinos. Everyone knows JL's # number but I've never seen anything about George's Casino with the Bigsby fitted. Mine is 124 away from John's and it puts a shiver up my spine every time I plug in to know this is close to what he felt when playing in such a fabulous instrument......Oh, and Peter, Southern Germany is stunning...I'm trying to work out how I can move to the Black Forest area to be nearer to my friends in Stuttgart - this is currently top of my list of Things To Do before the end of 2010 :)
