DANG, Twang !!! Well, hate to hear that, hope everything works out for the best.....whatever you do (and I have witnessed this in the course of my job) do NOT put the hospital gown on "backwards" ..... makes for awkward moments...LOL. I recall you posting about this before - wishin' ya the best, sir..... y'all come back, now.... ya hear ???

I don't suppose the hospital would consider allowing you

to keep a beater/travel guitar next to the bed? Flowers are

allowed, books are allowed, etc. It's not like you'd be requesting

a half-stack in the corner...

BTW, I pray all works out for the better for you. I've never had

the experience of a hospital stay, which means I'll probably

croak next week......

Best wishes, TWANG. Hope all turns out well.

The stuffy old nurses wouldn't let me bring my acoustic when I was in a few weeks ago. They allowed me my MP3 player, PSP, and books, but were concerned about noise complaints from other patients when it came to the guitar (can't really blame them, as I kinda suck right now :P).

Thanks everyone.

It's all outpatient. I have to be in a motel room for a week..

so I'm taking one of my strats, the roland micro cube, headphones and a big stack of cds..

plus some books so I can catch up on my reading of non musical stuff.

Maybe I'll get out and see a band if they don't do anything that makes me walk funny!

Thanks again and see you in a while!

..."plus some books so I can catch up on my reading of non musical stuff." Yeh, I've tried that before. :-$ Anytime you can put a guitar or a computer in your hand you can kiss goodbye any intention on reading. With either, the time

passes quicker than you know what. We all know that. Best of luck, Twang, with whatever it is they're testing you

for. God knows we certainly need you around here, so don't stay away too long.

a pc in the waiting room. pretty neat, huh?

I had some kinda scan. CT scan.. what a trip.

you drink some water with iodine.. then you lay down and drink some other stuff..

next thing you know..metallic taste. nose mouth.. then warm.. then down your body it goes..

you swear you just soiled yourself.. both sides!

But no, just some heat caused by whatever that was I drank.

But cool beans.. the machine.. Siemens. you know, like the preamp tubes in my VJ.. so I got to yak at the team about guitar tubes.

heh.

Might get out of here today.. !

so thanks all.. and see you soon!
