TWANG Posted October 26, 2009 Share Posted October 26, 2009 DER KOMMANDANT got this photographers aluminum case at an auction. paid five bucks I think. and I had some foam she got last summer laying around. and some material I paid 4.00 for on sale that's nearly a perfect vj red match. tore the guts out of the case.. took off the stickers and writing. it's solid.. good latches and handle, just a little worn being soft aluminum body and chrome corners. put the foam in.. will add material later.. fits perfect! pick it up with lid open by the vj handle and it wont fall out. bad pics but neat project. ten bucks or less! save yer junk boys.. you never know when you hit the right combination. I do save all kinds of "junk" (according to Mrs RSD), but have yet to come up with anything other than a garage and basement full of, uh, junk ....so far.... heh.
